What if....... I used discarded food wrappers to pull some Gelli prints???

Ok, so I started pulling prints on the mini dumpling pages...- I did not wash them first, just left them out overnight and started pulling this morning!

They took the color beautifully!

Doesnt that just make your heart happy??

Then, another great perk - a little box, complete with scripture to keep the pretty, little pulls in!!

Altering a magazine Picture

So many time I hear, "I cant do that, I cant paint!" I want to assure you that YOU CAN!!!  In the above videos, there are 3 steps and stages, in transforming a magazine image from a woman smoking, to a resting ballerina. In using the values of light and dark, already utilized in the magazine picture, a lot of the work is done for us! Here I will paint over an image with Gesso, and then add and alter the image to fit my needs!
