Proverbs 5:21-23

²¹ For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord,
And He ponders all his paths.
²² His own iniquities entrap the wicked man,
And he is caught in the cords of his sin.
²³ He shall die for lack of instruction,
And in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray

For the ways of men are before the Lord, and He ponders all of our paths. He knows our thoughts before we think them. He goes before us and we are not to be afraid. With all of this in place, it is beyond belief that we still find a way to step upon the front porch of Seduction and knock upon her door.

Remember that sin LURKS at our door, and LONGS for us. Every step we take, every thought we think, is a battleground for holiness.   Our God wraps us up in His love, while offering us free will to choose Him – or not.  It wouldn’t be love if we were forced to Him.  Love is a gift a choice- a choice that we are given a million times a day.  Be true to our first love, or knock upon the door of seduction.
