Things not going right?

 

 

 

The Angel of the Lord was standing in the way!

Are things just not going right?  Are you hit with roadblock after roadblock and you just cant get your feet under you? I was reading in Numbers 22:21, and it occurred to me that sometimes the Lord sends angels to BLOCK our path.
Let me take you through this journey with Balaam as he sets out for Moab.  God sends the angel of the Lord THREE times to block his path...three times and Balaam misses.  Now his donkey saw the angel of the Lord and stopped in his tracks, but Balaam only saw the earthly reality of his donkey misbehaving. 
Are there roadblocks in front of you today? Perhaps the way is being blocked by the angel of the Lord? Perhaps, in God's providence, He is stopping you, redirecting you and protecting you?

Not all roadblocks are bad things, they are merely detour signs into the will of God.
