Proverbs 8:17-21

¹⁷ I love those who love me,
    and those who seek me diligently find me.
¹⁸ Riches and honor are with me,
    enduring wealth and righteousness.
¹⁹ My fruit is better than gold, even fine gold,
    and my yield than choice silver.
²⁰ I walk in the way of righteousness,
    in the paths of justice,
²¹ granting an inheritance to those who love me,
    and filling their treasuries.

Jeremiah 29: ¹² Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. ¹³ You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. ¹⁴ I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile.

Lady Wisdom is not hiding from us, or lurking – attempting to catch us.  She is found by those that seek after her with all of their hearts.  I have to think that if we have agreed to do this study together, Wisdom is increasing in all of our hearts—because we have sought her out diligently.

She promises us more than the wealths of this world:

·      Riches and honor are with me

·      enduring wealth and righteousness

·      I walk in the way of righteousness,
    in the paths of justice

granting an inheritance to those who love me,
    and filling their treasuries.
